QUESTION: Can you suggest herbs for allergies?

This is a good question but the person didn’t specify if it was an allergy for food or seasonal or what… so I decided to recommend a simple and strong remedy that may help any kind of allergies. These are two herbs that when combined they are powerful healers: Echinacea and Red Clover. When getting the Echinacea get the variety “Echinacea Angustifolia”. If possible get the root because it has more healing properties.
Here is what to do:
1- Check out your diet and change the things that are no so nutritious, eat more raw vegetables and less junk, fried food, and food that you know is not good for you.
2- If this is a seasonal allergy use a mask when you are outside and the wind is blowing. If this is an allergy from food try to be aware of what you eat and how your body reacts. Keep a journal. Try to find a pattern. It may take weeks to discover but you can do it if you are persistent.
3- Hydrate yourself very well with water. This will help your body to flush out the toxins and also for the better functioning of everything that is involved when we are facing an allergy. Calculate how much water you need to drink by your weight in pounds divided into two and that will give you the number of ounces of water you should drink a daily. If this is too much, start increasing your water intake little by little for two weeks until you reach your goal.
4- Do breathing exercises to stimulate blood flow. If you don’t know any, breathe very slowly and deep in for seconds, hold it for two and release it in 8.
5- Get the Echinacea root and the Red Clover in powder if possible and make capsules with equal parts. I recommend size 00. Take 4 capsules a day. Starting with one capsule and increasing to 4 capsules in two weeks and take notes on your journal. Or you can have 2 teas a day. This calculation is for a person that weighs 160 pounds so do your numbers for your weight.
*WARNING: Not because they are herbs it means it is ok to take too much. You may overdose yourself. Be careful. Start little by little and most importantly be aware of how you feel.
