A ceremony of love 

Helping the lost Souls find their way

 

Twice a year we perform the most beautiful, loving an compassionate Ceremony. It is dedicated to our loved ones that passed away. It doesn’t matter if they left us a long time ago or recently. In this sacred ceremony, we invite them to visit us and also we open the doors to the souls that haven’t crossed yet. These souls can be not only humans but also animals and plants.

 

 

Sometimes the souls don’t cross because they still have attachments or some kind of business with this reality and they stay here trying to “fix” whatever their issue is. We, spiritual practitioners, provide a safe place for these souls to get healed and all the help they need so they can move forward and cross over. Also, we help the family and friends left behind. We provide a safe place to visit their loved ones and encourage them to cross over in the case that they are “trap” here in our reality.

 

Of all the ceremonies in Curanderismo or Mexican Shamanism, this is the one that is the favorite of most of the people. The reason for that is that LOVE is everything and LOVE is the only thing that we use to communicate and help the souls.

 

Curandera Paloma Cervantes has been leading this ceremony for almost 30 years now. The ceremony takes several weeks of preparation. During those weeks, we perform many ceremonies to prepare ourselves, the location where the ceremony is going to be and also ceremonies to invite the spirits that want to cross over.

 

At the Institute of Shamanism and Curanderismo, we perform this ceremony twice a year. If you have a loved one that passed away and you would like to include him, her or it in this ceremony please send an email to hola@palomacervantes.com with the following information: name of the person or pet that passed away, date and place where they passed away and your relationship with them. Note: For a Soul to be invited to cross over it has to be more than 3 months since her/his/it passing away.

–  Offering: Flowers, any color, any kind

– Offering: Also bring something to offer to the souls, this can be fruit, bread, tea, items that your loved one used to love, etc. At the end of the ceremony, we are going to have a potluck. Then we will have time to share our experiences. We are going to share the offered food, although it won’t have any flavor. It is said that spirit takes the food essence away when they accept the offering

– If you have somebody that passed away please bring something that belongs to that person or something that she/he/it used to like. Example: favorite beverage, food, etc.

– Mandatory: dress in white. We will have some dresses in our mini store that you can buy if you forget to bring yours

– If you are a student, please bring your ceremonial belt, headband and medicine bag. If you are not a student, please bring a red bandanna. We will have in our mini store if you forget to bring yours and you would like to buy one.

– When you book for the ceremony you will receive an email with more information on the other things to bring, times, address, etc.

Our products are prepared during special ceremonies during the year, which means that sometimes we don’t have them and you may need to wait until we have that ceremony again.
