Curanderismo for Healers and Practitioners Study program

These are a series of workshops in which you are going to learn how to merge the Curanderismo Healing Arts from México into your regular healing practices to enrich your life and to have extra spiritual tools when working with a client.

This workshop is going to be offered every other month. Each time a different topic. Once the group has the basic knowledge and skills needed, then the group decides what they want to learn from the list of classes.

This type of Curanderismo is from México. There are many branches or paths in Shamanism and Curanderismo. The Curanderismo that we practice is natural; it is not induced by any preparation that needs to be taken internally. You will learn a series of exercises that will help you to reach high spiritual levels and work in spiritual realms without the need for chemicals that may harm your body. Also, this is not a religion or cult. These spiritual practices may improve your own religion or spiritual path.

In this workshop, Curanderismo for Healers and Practitioners, you will go deeper in knowledge and practice. It will prepare you to become a Curandero or Curandera.

You don’t need to take all the workshops. You just need to attend to the ones that you feel attracted to. When you feel you are ready to work as a Curandera or Curandero we can arrange an assessment….if you pass the assessment we will celebrate. If you don’t pass the assessment then we will work on the areas that need support.

If you need a certificate we can provide one but we don’t give certificates to students that finish their training and cannot perform. So don’t be shy and ask for help in the areas that you are not good.

• Crossover ceremony – Helping the lost Souls find their way

• Curanderismo tools and Medicine Bag

• How to change mental programs that conflict our lives

• How to connect with your ancestors to receive guidance and knowledge

• How to help clients with PTSD, depression, victims of rape

• How to prepare yourself for working with clients and their energies in a safe way

• Mexican House Blessing techniques

• Mexican Medicine Wheel

• Mexican Psychic Surgery

• Mexican Spiritual Baths – How to perform Spiritual Baths for different spiritual purposes

• Mexican Spiritual Cleansing techniques: Limpia con Huevo (egg cleansing), Agua de Fuego (fire water), Barridas, Sahumacion, Rameadas

Pre-requisites: For this workshop, you need to know basic spiritual practices. How to protect yourself, how to connect with energies and spiritual beings and how to cleanse yourself from unwanted energies. Also, you need to know about auras and chakra system. I teach an ongoing Spiritual Foundation workshop in which you can learn how to protect yourself, how to connect with energies and spiritual beings and how to cleanse yourself from unwanted energies.

About the instructor: Paloma Cervantes is a Mexican Shaman or Curandera born and raised into the tradition. Working full time as a Curandera since 1986.  She writes and teaches about Shamanism, Curanderismo, Spiritual Herbalism and Ancient Healing Traditions. She offers private consultations too.
